  • Ongoing research and data support for organizations that want a partner, not a one-off project. For a flat monthly fee, you keep dedicated access to our team — for as long as you need it. No fixed end date, no renegotiating a contract every time something comes up.

    What's included each month:

    • A standing strategy session to plan, problem-solve, and set priorities

    • Dedicated hours for data analysis, framework refinement, or troubleshooting

    • Priority access to our team between meetings

    • On-call advising as questions and needs arise

    Monthly fee: $3,000–$5,000, based on the level of support you need

    Best for organizations that want steady, ongoing capacity rather than a defined, time-limited project.

  • For organizations and coalitions that need a defined piece of work delivered on a set scope and timeline. We build every project around your goals, your capacity, and your funding. Three common shapes:

    Focused Evaluation
    A mixed-methods data collection and analysis project with up to 5 participants.
    What's included:

    • Custom survey and instrument design built around your research question

    • Monthly strategy meetings throughout the project

    • One deliverable: an evaluation report

    Fee: starting around $50,000
    Best when you have one program you need to understand well.

    Expanded Engagement
    A mixed-methods evaluation across multiple programs, with a larger participant pool.
    What's included:

    • Custom survey and instrument design built around your research questions

    • Monthly strategy meetings throughout the project

    • Two to three deliverables (such as evaluation reports, presentations, or a data summary)

    Fee: starting around $75,000
    Best when you're evaluating more than one program, or need more than a single report.

    Full Partnership
    An ongoing, multi-phase partnership for organizations and coalitions that want a long-term research and data partner — with the flexibility to take on new work as needs evolve.
    What's included:

    • Monthly strategy meetings throughout the engagement

    • Built-in technical support across the partnership

    • Multiple deliverables, scoped to your goals — for example, a data inventory, framework, guidebook, or dictionary

    • New projects as the partnership grows — such as convenings, webinars, funding proposals, and other collaborative work

    Fee: starting around $100,000
    Best for organizations and coalitions that want an embedded, long-term research partner rather than a one-time project.

  • Hands-on workshops that build your team's capacity to collect, analyze, and use your own data — so you're not solely dependent on outside experts.
    What's included:

    • Custom training built around your team's needs and skill level

    • Practical, hands-on instruction in data collection and analysis

    • Tools and materials your team keeps and uses

    Best for organizations building data skills in-house.

  • On-site bias-reduction training for law enforcement, grounded in lived experience and the perspective of the communities most affected by policing — not an outside academic lens. We build each training around your department's size, goals, and budget, and travel within Delaware is included. Facilitated by Dr. Kam Williams, PhD, and Bertha Arvizo, MA. Three formats:

    Half-Day A focused session covering the core concepts and de-escalation fundamentals. What's included:

    • Core training across de-escalation and community engagement, identifying bias, compassionate policing, and cultural competency

    • Delivered on-site at your department

    • Travel within Delaware included

    Fee: up to $5,000 Best when you want a single-session introduction for a shift or team.

    Full-Day Everything in the half-day, with time to practice. What's included:

    • All half-day content

    • Scenario-based role-play and hands-on practice

    • Travel within Delaware included

    Fee: up to $10,000 Best when you want officers to practice what they learn, not just hear it.

    Virtual Refresher A virtual session for teams that have already completed a training. What's included:

    • A virtual refresher for up to 10 previously trained officers

    • Reinforces the core concepts from your prior session

    Fee: $500 flat Best when a trained team needs a lower-cost check-in.

Pricing Philosophy

The organizations closest to the problem are usually the ones with the least funding to study it. We refuse to let that decide who gets rigorous research.

  • Standard rates — already set below market, because we believe this work should be accessible.

  • Grassroots rates — further reduced rates for community-based organizations, available through a short application.

  • Billing that works with your funding — contracts are paid in milestone installments tied to deliverables, and we align invoicing with your grant timelines. Need ongoing support without a large upfront commitment? That's what our retainer is for.
